High Alkaline CIP Cleaner for Food Processing Equipment
State® Squall™ is a high alkaline CIP cleaner that eliminates carbon, grease, protein, and carbohydrate soils from food processing equipment without chlorine or foam, so systems rinse clean in fewer passes and stay production-ready between shifts. Its strong alkaline chemistry breaks down fat-based soils chemically, then holds them in suspension so they rinse away without redepositing. NSF A8 certified and CFIA listed for food processing applications, Squall™ delivers consistent soil removal across operating temperatures from 130°F–200°F.
Where to Use State® Squall™ High Alkaline CIP Cleaner
Use In/On: CIP systems, boil-out tanks, soak basins, food processing equipment, and food contact surfaces.
Recommended For: Dairies, bakeries, breweries, wineries, canneries, meat and poultry plants, egg processing facilities, seafood processors, and rendering operations.
Effective Against: Carbon deposits, grease, oil, fat-based soils, protein buildup, carbohydrate residues, and stubborn food-processing contaminants.
CIP Cleaning: Flush system with water. Dilute 2 – 6 ounces per gallon of water, depending on degree of soil. For best results, warm solution to 130°F – 200°F. Circulate through system until soils are removed. Drain system and rinse with potable water.
Boil Out: Dilute 2 – 6 ounces per gallon of water, depending on degree of soil. For best results, heat solution to desired temperature. Circulate through system until soils are removed. Drain system and rinse with potable water.
Soak Cleaning: Dilute ounces per gallon of water, depending on degree of soil. For best results use hot water. Soak until soil is softened or removed. Agitate if necessary. Rinse thoroughly with potable water.
DO NOT USE ON ALUMINUM NOT FOR PRESSURE WASHER APPLICATIONS: Squall™ is an industrial strength, heavy duty product. For this reason care should be utilized on painted surfaces where paint removal is not intended.
FOOD CONTACT SURFACES MUST BE RINSED WITH POTABLE WATER AFTER TREATMENT WITH THIS PRODUCT.
