Product Description

State RTV™ can be used as an adhesive, sealant, caulk and even as a gasket maker. State RTV converts quickly from a soft, tacky thermo-plastic to a strong, temperature stable thermo-set. RTV’s internal curing system works at room temperature. State RTV remains strong and flexible in extreme temperatures.

Automatic tube creates controllable bead— no mess, less waste and no caulk gun needed.

VERSATILE
RTV caulks, seals, insulates, bonds, weatherproofs and repairs a variety of materials. It adheres to metal, porcelain, ceramic, non-oily wood, glass, painted surfaces, many plastics and rubber. RTV is specially developed for high temperature applications (up to 650° F constant and 700° F up to 1/2 hour.) RTV is oxygen sensor safe and engine oil resistant. These features make it especially well suited for automotive and gasket applications.

Directions for Use

1. Clean and dry all surfaces. Completely remove all dirt, grease and soap. 2. Hold nozzle at a 45° angle and apply in any direction. 3. Most paint will not adhere to silicone. Surface should be painted first, then seal. 4. Work time for silicone is approximately 15 minutes. Handling strength is reached in 1 hour. 5. Allow 24 hours for full cure and strength.
