Dry Trap Sealer That Blocks Sewer Gas Odors
Dry drain traps allow sewer gases and foul odors to enter occupied spaces. Shut Your Trap™ uses a concentrated, soy-based formula that floats on the water in drain traps to create a slow-evaporating barrier that seals in sewer gases. Unlike water-based alternatives, the soy-based layer resists evaporation to maintain odor protection between applications. State’s SE-500™ odor-neutralizing technology eliminates odor-causing compounds instead of simply masking them, providing long-lasting wintergreen freshness.
Where to Use Shut Your Trap™ Dry Trap Sealer
Use In/On: Floor drains, sink drains, shower drains, tub drains, condensate drains, and plumbing traps.
Recommended For: Schools, bakeries, grocery stores, office buildings, apartments, hotels, recreation centers, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings.
Effective Against: Sewer gas odors, dry drain traps, drain flies, and pests entering occupied spaces.
Depending on the size of the drain, add 4-6 ounces of Shut Your Trap to create a layer on top of the fluid in the drain. Depending on drain flow, re-applying Shut Your Trap will be necessary when layer is no longer visible, or when odors begin to return.
