Preventative Commercial Drain Treatment for Kitchens, Restrooms, and Floor Drains
Grease-B-Gone® Cherry is a commercial drain maintainer designed for facility managers who can’t afford a drain emergency. Unlike water-based or enzyme products that work on the surface of buildup, it penetrates the base layer itself, dissolving fat, oil, and grease from the inside out within minutes, not hours. Buildup liquefies and flushes out of your facility before it becomes a costly problem. Facilities using Grease-B-Gone® Cherry as part of a weekly PM program report fewer emergency service calls and reduced plumbing costs.
Where to Use Grease-B-Gone® Cherry
As a FOG drain treatment and drain deodorizer, Grease-B-Gone® Cherry performs equally well in high-traffic kitchens and general building drains.
Use In: Kitchen, restroom, sink, shower, bar drains, floor drains, and grease traps.
Recommended For: Multi-family properties, office buildings, healthcare facilities, schools, hotels, and anywhere else where grease buildup can create issues.
Effective Against: Fats, oils, and greases (FOGs), other organic sources of buildup, soap scum, skin oils, and biofilm.
Treat weekly for general preventative drain treatments, or more regularly for drains with common issues.
To open drains stopped by grease buildup, pour 8 ounces in drain and let stand for 1 hour. In garbage disposals, let stand for 5-10 minutes. Flush with hot water. Repeat treatment if necessary.
To prevent grease buildup in drains and grease traps, dilute 8 ounces per gallon of water and apply. Let stand for 1 hour. Flush with hot tap water. Or, automate with our 24/7™ Drain Care System – a metered dispensing unit that delivers consistent nightly treatments without staff involvement.
For odor control, dilute 4 ounces per gallon of cold water, apply and allow to set for 5 minutes. Rinse with clean water.
NOTE: Use caution with plastic or PVC pipes, ensuring that you are rinsing as directed. Not for use on food contact surfaces.
