Molybdate-Nitrite Inhibitor for Closed Loops
HWS-135™ protects the efficiency and service life of closed hot and chilled water systems by controlling scale and corrosion with a proven molybdate-nitrite formula without compatibility concerns with common metals such as steel, cast-iron and copper. The molybdate-nitrite blend forms a passive oxide layer on ferrous surfaces while nitrite scavenges dissolved oxygen, addressing both corrosion buildup and growth.
Where to Use HWS-135™
Use In: Closed-loop hot water heating and chilled water cooling systems added via bypass feeders, pot feeders, or chemical pumps.
Recommended For: Warehouses, boiler rooms, water treatment facilities, hospitals, universities, commercial buildings with central HVAC, and other closed loops where scale and corrosion threaten heat transfer efficiency.
Effective Against: Scale growth and corrosion on steel, copper, cast-iron and ferrous metal, preventing oxygen-driven pitting and galvanic attacks.
Caution: Do not use in potable water systems. Do not use in systems with aluminum components. Do not use in any systems which discharge into water supplies used for drinking or washing, could accidentally discharge into such systems, or in streams accessible to animals.
