Acidine® contains a special acid cleaner to effectively de-scale heat exchangers, boilers, and other metallic or nonmetallic surfaces. Its combined surfactants and penetrants effortlessly cut through and remove accumulated rust, scale, and lime deposits. Special corrosion inhibitors allow it to be used on iron and steel components (not for use on aluminum or galvanized metal).

VERSATILE
While designed primarily for removing scale in commercial heating systems, Acidine can also be used as a rust and scale remover in many applications outside of water treatment. It cleans, brightens and renews tubing, brick, cement, piping, flow meters, valves and other industrial equipment. Can be used in dip-cleaning applications or sprayed onto the surface. Can also be used to effectively etch concrete before applying solvent-based sealers or paints. Acidine can be diluted at various strengths depending on the cleaning application for cost-effective use and is NSF rated (A3) for use in food and beverage processing.
