Product Description

POWERFUL CLEANING FORMULA
Acidine® is engineered to aggressively remove rust, scale, and lime deposits from heat exchangers, boilers, and a wide range of metallic and non-metallic surfaces. Its advanced blend of surfactants and penetrants quickly breaks down buildup, delivering fast, thorough cleaning. Built-in corrosion inhibitors make it safe for use on iron and steel components (note: not recommended for aluminum or galvanized metals).

VERSATILE & COST-EFFECTIVE
Originally formulated for descaling commercial heating systems, Acidine® is also highly effective in a variety of industrial cleaning applications beyond water treatment. It cleans and restores tubing, brick, cement, piping, valves, flow meters, and other equipment. Use it in dip tanks or apply by spray. Acidine® is also suitable for etching concrete prior to applying solvent-based sealers or coatings.

Flexible dilution options allow for customized strength depending on the job, making Acidine® a cost-efficient choice. NSF-certified (A3), it’s approved for use in food and beverage processing facilities.

Directions for Use

Light-Duty & Dip-Tank Cleaning: Mix one part Acidine® with five to ten parts water. Dip parts to be cleaned in the solution, or apply Acidine® solution to the parts with a brush or cloth. Agitate or rub to loosen scale and corrosion. Rinse thoroughly with water.

Medium & Heavy-Duty Cleaning: Mix one part Acidine® with four parts water or use full strength for heavy-duty scale deposits and rust accumulation. Thoroughly rinse all surfaces with water after cleaning.

Steam Boiler Cleaning: Because of the potential hazards associated with acid cleaning, it is highly recommended that before using Acidine® in these systems you consult your State representative for detailed usage instructions.
