SuperHot™ Steam Treatment is a concentrated neutralizing amine formula that prevents carbonic acid damage in steam condensate lines. By safeguarding against leaks and costly condensate loss, it extends system life and ensures reliable operation. It meets NSF certification standards for use in meat and poultry processing plants where treated steam will not contact edible products.

Formulated to protect the entire steam line system, SuperHot™ Steam Treatment delivers consistent performance at any operating pressure. Its neutralizing amine helps maintain the integrity of steam and condensate systems, reducing downtime and preserving equipment.
INITIAL TREATMENT: Use 5 ounces (148 ml) for every 1000 gallons (3800L) of make-up water added to the boiler. Check condensate to make sure pH is alkaline at all times. Obtain a sample of steam condensate 24 hours after the addition of Superhot Steam Treatment from tile steam trap located furthest from the boiler. Clear steam trap for a minimum of 30 seconds prior to collecting sample. Cool sample at room temperature and determine pH. If pH of steam condensate is low, 7.0 or less, increase treatment until pH I)f steam condensate is 8.0 or higher. Readings greater than 8.0 are not harmful. Check and maintain pH of steam condensate in 7.0-8.0 range by addition of Superhot Steam Treatment at regular intervals.
