Standard boiler treatments push pH above 8.5, damaging aluminum components. Q4160™ is formulated to stay within the 7.5–8.5 range aluminum systems require. It’s designed for high efficiency aluminum hot water boiler systems requiring a maximum operating water pH of 8.5. Clean heat transfer surfaces reduce energy consumption and extend equipment service life, directly lowering operating costs.
Where to Use Q4160™
Use In: Closed-loop aluminum hot water heating systems, including fin-tube and fan coil configurations.
Recommended For: Commercial buildings, schools, and light industrial facilities with high-efficiency aluminum boilers.
Effective Against: Corrosion on aluminum, steel, copper, and brass components; scale and sludge buildup on heat transfer surfaces.
Caution: Not for use in potable water systems.
