Product is most effective when parts are clean and free of rust, scale or dirt. However, product will afford adequate protection when applied over rust, scale and dirt, and will aid in removal later. Remove protective cap. Point opening in spray tip towards part to be coated. Holding can 8 to 10 inches from part, spray 2 or 3 mil coat with a slow sweeping motion. Completely wet surface. For extremely severe conditions, wait 5 minutes and apply another coat. A 2 or 3 mil coating will provide indefinite protection for indoor storage and 6 months to 1 year protection for outdoor storage. A 5 or 6 mil coating will protect materials for up to 2 years in outdoor storage. Product will completely set up in 2 hours. Once the film is hard, part can be handled. Dust and dirt can be wiped off without affecting film. Can be removed by washing with kerosene or mineral spirits. Once removed, parts can be painted.
