BT-75™
All-in-One Steam Boiler Treatment
COMPLETE PROTECTION FOR BOILER SYSTEMS
BT‑75™ is an all in one boiler water treatment that conditions boiler water by controlling scale and sludge while preventing corrosion. It combines powerful scale and sludge control agents with oxygen scavengers to protect the entire system, reduce maintenance needs, and extend the life of your equipment.
IMPROVES EFFICIENCY AND REDUCES COSTS
BT‑75™ helps prevent energy robbing scale buildup and minimizes boiler sludge, allowing your system to operate more efficiently. By reducing the risk of corrosion and sacle buildup, BT‑75™ supports consistent performance and helps lower energy costs, making it a smart choice for long term boiler maintenance.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE IN STEAM BOILERS:
For best results BT-75 should be used with softened water. Use a
sufficient amount of BT-75 to achieve sulfite level of 30–60 ppm
in the steam boiler. Typically, BT-75 is initially fed at a rate of 500
ml per 1000 liters of boiler water. Product should be added to the
feed water tank or condensate receiver directly from the shipping
container. No product mixing or dilution needed. If the above
product test is below range, increase product usage.
Perform bottom blowdown at specified periods to remove
accumulated solids. System TDS levels are determined by the quality
of the available fresh make-up water. Your State Account Manager
will review the water conditions of the boiler system and recommend
a TDS limit for your system. BT-75 should be added with a pump and
controller similar to the State Chemical boiler controller.
For steam systems with condensate return, the addition of a
condensate return product such as SuperHot™ Boiler Treatment
should be used. For boiler systems with feed water temperatures
below 212° F should use a separate oxygen scavenger boost product
such as State Chemical Liquid Oxygen Scavenger.
