SELF-FUSING SEAL FOR QUICK REPAIRS
Action Wrap™ bonds to itself to create a tough, waterproof seal that repairs wet, oily, or dirty radiator and garden hoses, leaky water pipes, and electrical splices on the spot. With a dielectric strength of 36,000 volts per millimeter, it is also suitable for high-voltage insulating in demanding maintenance environments.
RELIABLE PERFORMANCE IN DEMANDING CONDITIONS
Ideal for jointing and repairing power and distribution cables up to 36,000 volts, Action Wrap™ is designed to meet temperature requirements for cross-linked polyethylene cables. It withstands continuous temperatures from -40°F to 212°F, up to 257°F intermittently, and is effective for applications up to 120 psi pressure.
APPLICATIONS
For jointing (splicing) and repair of a wide range of power and distribution cables up to 36,000 volts. Specifically designed to meet the temperature requirements for the jointing and repair of cross-linked polyethylene cables where overload temperatures of 257OF can be encountered. Can be used for protection against corrosion metal pipe-work and waterproofing of many electrical components.
