Industrial Silicone Sealant for Automotive and Industrial Use
When gaskets fail under heat or vibration, RTV™ silicone sealant steps in, curing at room temperature to a flexible, temperature-stable bond that holds where other sealants crack. RTV™ is available in Red (650°F continuous), Clear (general-purpose), and Aluminum (metal surfaces) — matching the right formula to the job.
Where to Use RTV™
Use On: metal, porcelain, ceramic, glass, painted surfaces, plastics, rubber.
Recommended For: automotive shops, industrial maintenance, HVAC facilities, manufacturing plants.
Effective Against: leaks, heat degradation, vibration failure, weathering.
1. Clean and dry all surfaces. Completely remove all dirt, grease and soap.
2. Hold nozzle at a 45° angle and apply in any direction.
3. Most paint will not adhere to silicone. Surface should be painted first, then seal.
4. Work time for silicone is approximately 15 minutes. Handling strength is reached in 1 hour.
5. Allow 24 hours for full cure and strength.
