Bacterial Enzyme Drain Treatment for Grease and Organic Waste
Grease, fats, oils, proteins, and starches can build up in wastewater systems, causing odors, blockages, and costly maintenance. PrimeZyme™ combines stabilized enzymes with beneficial bacteria to quickly break down organic waste while providing ongoing biological activity for long-term control. Its blend of amylase, protease, cellulase, and lipase helps reduce odors, minimize suspended solids, and keep drain and wastewater systems operating efficiently.
Where to Use PrimeZyme™
Use In/On: Lift stations, sewer lines, grease traps, septic tanks, drain lines, wastewater systems, and collection systems.
Recommended For: Food processing facilities, restaurants, commercial kitchens, municipalities, industrial facilities, wastewater treatment operations, and facility maintenance programs.
Effective Against: Fats, oils, grease (FOG), proteins, starches, cellulose, organic waste, suspended solids, and drain odors.
For Food Plant Use: Not for use on food contact surfaces. Avoid contamination during application and storage.
Lift Stations: PrimeZyme should be metered in directly into a lift station at the end of a pump cycle. This can be done using a DR-2000™ pump. Depending on the amount of FOG’s and organic load, the usage rates will vary according to the amount of raw influent in the lift station. Typically, one gallon of product will be sufficient in a lift station that handles up to 20,000 gallons of raw influent. The same amounts will be used if slug feeding, but during low flow periods. The product can also be fed in at the nearest up-stream manhole.
Mains/Manholes: Treatment should be started in the closest upstream manhole from the problem area. One gallon should be metered in for each 10,000 gallons of influent. This can be done using a DR-2000™ pump. For best results, meter product in during high flow rate periods. If slug feeding, slug at a rate of one gallon for each 5,000 gallons of influent to start and continue with a maintenance dose of one gallon to every 20,000 gallons of influent on a weekly basis.
