Use State Formula 482 to prevent oxygen pitting and corrosion. Add Formula 482 directly to water in the system. Maintain a proper blowdown schedule, and a residual of 30-60 ppm Formula 482 in the boiler at all times for effective protection from oxygen pitting or corrosion. Send water samples from the boiler and the feedwater to our Lab at least twice a year for analysis.
