  • Multiple amine formula effectively neutralizes carbonic acid in steam condensate lines
  • Provides maximum coverage for the entire steam line system
  • Super-concentrated for economical use

Product Description

F-637™ Concentrated Clean-Line is designed to neutralize corrosive carbonic acid formation in critical steam boiler condensate return system. If untreated, steam will produce low pH condensate that can damage return lines and foul boiler tubes. F-637 Concentrated Clean-Line effectively neutralizes the acid produces using a wide distribution neutralizing amine. F-637 Concentrated Clean-Line is effective in all types of steam distribution systems including heating systems with very long steam line systems.

F-637 Concentrated Clean-Line is acceptable for treating boiler or steam lines where steam produced may contact edible product. F-637 Concentrated Clean-Line is NSF registered as (G6) approved for food processing facilities and meets the requirements for use in Federally inspected meat and poultry plants.

Directions for Use

Clean Line Concentrate Formula-637™ should be maintained at a level no greater than 10 ppm measured as cyclohexylamine and 15 ppm measured as diethylethanolamine. When steam is to contact milk or milk products, do not use Clean Line Concentrate Formula 637. The feed rate for Clean Line Concentrate is dependent on, Steam pressure, Carbonate alkalinity and condensate return as well as many other factors. For correct feed rate consult your State Chemical Representative. For an initial feed rate typically set the chemical feed at 10 ounces (296 ml) for every 1000 gallons (3800L) of fresh make-up water added to the boiler. Check condensate pH after the first 24 hours of adding Clean Line Concentrate. Obtain a condensate sample from the furthest sample point possible before the collection tank. Cool sample to room temperature and measure pH. If condensate pH is below 7.0 increase the feed of Clean Line Concentrate. If pH is above 9.0 reduce product feed. Adjust Clean Line Concentrate feed to achieve a concentrate pH of 7.0-8.0. For best results check condensate pH on a regular bases and make feed adjustments as needed.
