Sta-Zyme® Plus helps keep drains, grease traps, septic systems, and wastewater treatment systems flowing efficiently by accelerating the breakdown of organic waste without harsh chemicals. Its concentrated formula contains over 5 billion CFU of nonpathogenic aerobic and anaerobic bacteria per gram that continuously generate enzymes to digest fats, oils, grease, proteins, starches, cellulose, detergents, and other organic waste. Lipase and protease provide immediate breakdown of fats and grease while helping reduce biological oxygen demand (BOD).
Where to Use Sta-Zyme® Plus
Use In/On: Grease traps, floor drains, septic systems, sewage treatment plants, Imhoff tanks, stabilization lagoons, sinks, tubs, and drain lines.
Recommended For: Food processing plants, restaurants, commercial kitchens, municipal wastewater facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings.
Effective Against: Fats, oils, grease (FOG), proteins, starches, cellulose, detergents, organic waste, odors, sludge buildup, and high biological oxygen demand (BOD).
Compatibility Note: Do not use with strong acids, alkalis, lye, or oxidizing agents, as they reduce or destroy the activity of the beneficial microorganisms.
