Sewer Solvent #7

Read all label precautions before using this product. Use Sewer Solvent #7 to open up clogged sewers and drains and to liquify solidified sludge. The use dosage of Sewer Solvent #7 depends upon the nature of the clogging problem. For most problems, 10 to 100 lbs. of Sewer Solvent #7 is required to clear the clogged line or the use of 1 lb. of Sewer Solvent #7 to every 2 feet of pipe line (average diameter 6 to 8 inches) to be treated is suggested. Water in the line is required to activate Sewer Solvent #7 compound. If necessary, follow the treatment with some cold water in the proportion of 5 gallons or more of water per 10 lbs. of treatment. Never add hot water. Do not stand over drain or look in drain while applying or immediately after application. Do not plug or use plunger while product is in drain. Allow 1 to 2 hours of reaction time — if the blockage is not cleared, add more Sewer Solvent #7 treatment.

FOR FOOD PLANT USE: Not for use on food contact surfaces. Avoid food contamination during application and storage.

PREVENTATIVE: Clogging of pipes and drain system can be prevented by using Sewer Solvent #7 periodically. Use Sewer Solvent #7 once a week instead of waiting for a stoppage and save a lot of trouble and inconvenience and a large plumber’s bill. As a maintenance treatment, use 1 to 10 lbs. of Sewer Solvent #7 weekly. Pour through the nearest drain to the sewer and follow with 1 to 5 gallons of water. The weekly use of 10 lbs. of Sewer Solvent #7 in a sump system will prevent solidification.

FROZEN PIPES: Sewer Solvent #7 will thaw out frozen pipes quickly. Use as required. NOTE: Do not allow water to get into container. Never use in aluminum containers. Never mix with any other chemicals. Heat generated by overuse may distort some pipes.
