Powder Dam™

Use On: Polymer spills, acid-based spills, alkaline-based spills and other water-based spills. Can be used on small gasoline and diesel fuel spills. 1. Care should be taken when dealing with potentially harmful liquids. Prior to use put on gloves, dust mask and protective clothing. 2. Sprinkle Powder Dam over the spill until the area is completely covered. 3. Allow Powder Dam to congeal the spill. 4. After the liquid has congealed, use an appropriate instrument (such as a broom or wet vac) to remove it. Follow all Federal, State and Local regulations pertaining to the disposal of materials. 5. After the congealed mess has been removed, a second application may be needed to remove any remaining residue. 6. Carefully remove and dispose of gloves, face mask and protective clothing following all Federal, State and Local regulations. 7. Wash hands thoroughly. If biological waste was involved, use an antiseptic hand cleaner such as State Hands On Defense. Note: When using on diesel fuel or gasoline spills, cover the entire spill with Powder Dam and add water to activate. Handle with care and avoid contact with flames; material may be flammable due to characteristics of liquid absorbed. Dispose of in an appropriate manner.
