Liquid De-icer for Commercial Pathways
PolarPro™ Premium Liquid Ice Melt is a ready-to-use liquid deicer formulated for fast, effective ice and snow removal. Its premium formula contains corrosion inhibitors to help prevent spalling on concrete and blacktop surfaces. The nonflammable, noncorrosive formula requires no mixing with water and features a blue/green color for visible application coverage.
Where To Use PolarPro™ Premium Liquid Ice Melt
Use On: Sidewalks, walkways, outdoor staircases, parking lots, patios, and other outdoor area
Recommended For: Schools, hospitals, apartment and condo properties, nursing homes, universities, pet-friendly facilities
Effective Against: Snow, ice, sleet
Anti-icer/Pre-wetter:
Spray on pavement before precipitation begins.
Apply at a rate of 0.5 gallons per 1,000 square feet.
Deicer:
Shovel first and then apply product to melt any thin layers of ice and snow using a pump up sprayer or other means.
Note: Near 32°F on thin ice, use 1 – 2 gallons per 1,000 square feet. Less than 10°F, use 3 – 6 gallons per 1,000 square feet. In conditions that have more than 2 inches of snow, liquid deicers are ineffective. On glazed ice it may be necessary to score the surface in several places before applying to allow penetration and to prevent run-off. More than one application may be necessary in extreme conditions.
