Orange Buoy™
Floating Citrus Degreaser & Deodorizer
Floating Citrus Degreaser for Lift Station Odor Control
Lift stations and sewage pits generate persistent odors and grease buildup that ordinary deodorizers can’t control. Orange Buoy™ forms a continuous floating barrier that traps foul odors beneath the water’s surface while natural citrus terpene solvents emulsify grease on pit walls and plumbing surfaces. A 1–2 inch floating layer provides continuous grease control, while a 1/8-inch film suppresses odors. Its noncaustic, noncorrosive formula helps reduce pump-out frequency and maintenance costs.
Where to Use Orange Buoy™
Use In/On: Lift stations, sewage ejection pits, grease traps, sumps, wastewater collection systems, and holding tanks.
Recommended For: Municipalities, healthcare facilities, commercial buildings, high-rise apartments, manufacturing plants, wastewater treatment facilities, and property management companies.
Effective Against: Hydrogen sulfide odors, wastewater malodors, grease accumulation on pit walls, pipe interiors, and organic waste buildup.
DO NOT USE IN FOOD HANDLING AREAS. AVOID FOOD CONTAMINATION DURING USE AND STORAGE. FOR SEWAGE EJECTION PITS, LIFT STATIONS, GREASE TRAPS, AND SUMPS
To control grease buildup: Add enough Orange Buoy™ to create a 1-2 inch layer on the surface of the lift station water. Add more product as needed to maintain this layer. Calculate this using the following formulas: Rectangular Pits: Length (inches) X Width (inches) X 1 or 2 inches divided by 231 Cubic inches per gallon of Product = Gallons of Product. Circular Pits: 3.14 X radius (inches) X radius (inches) X 1 or 2 inches divided by 231 cubic inches per gallon of Product = Gallons of Product.
FOR DEODORIZATION: Cover water in lift station with a light film of Orange Buoy. Use the formulas above, but substitute 1/8 inch in place of the 1 or 2 inch layer. Add more product as needed to maintain this layer. NOTE: Use caution in plastic or PVC pipes. Product standing at joint areas may cause leakage at plastic plumbing joint. NOTE: May affect some paints and plastics.
