When a seized bolt stops production, State Guardian® Penetrant penetrates rust and corrosion at the thread level, displacing moisture and breaking down buildup so components free up without thread damage. Once applied, it leaves a thin, protective film that helps prevent future corrosion and seizing on metal surfaces. Safe for use on ferrous metals, cast iron, and threaded steel fasteners.
Where to Use State Guardian® Penetrant
Use In: bolts, nuts, studs, fittings, hinges, chains, and threaded metal fasteners.
Recommended For: manufacturing plants, fleet maintenance shops, industrial fabrication facilities, and MRO operations.
Effective Against: rust, corrosion, scale buildup, and moisture-induced seizing.
Step-by-step instructions:
1. Shake well.
2. Hold can 6–8 inches from surface.
3. Apply directly to seized fastener or fitting.
4. Allow penetrant to soak 1–3 minutes before loosening.
5. Reapply as needed for heavily corroded components.
