Floating Degreaser & Deodorizer for Lift Station Odor Control
Persistent odors and grease buildup in lift stations and sumps create costly maintenance challenges. Cherry Float™ forms a floating surface blanket that traps sewer odors while its grease-busting formula helps prevent waste buildup. Unlike liquid additives that disperse into wastewater, it stays on the surface where odors originate for continuous protection. The non-caustic, non-corrosive formula helps extend maintenance intervals while keeping wastewater systems cleaner and more efficient.
Where to Use Cherry Float™
Use In/On: Lift stations, sewage ejection pits, grease traps, sumps, and wastewater collection systems.
Recommended For: Municipal wastewater facilities, office buildings, healthcare facilities, high-rise apartments, manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, and property management.
Effective Against: Sewer odors, hydrogen sulfide odors, grease buildup, wastewater malodors, and surface grease accumulation.
FOR SEWAGE EJECTION PITS, LIFT STATIONS, GREASE TRAPS, AND SUMPS
To control grease buildup: Add enough State Cherry Float™ to create a 1-2 inch layer on the surface of the lift station water. Add more product as needed to maintain this layer. Calculate this using the following formulas: Rectangular Pits: Length (inches) X Width (inches) X 1 or 2 inches divided by 231 Cubic inches per gallon of Product = Gallons of Product. Circular Pits: 3.14 X radius (inches) X radius
(inches) X 1 or 2 inches divided by 231 cubic inches per gallon of Product =Gallons of Product.
FOR DEODORIZATION
Cover water in lift station with a light film of State Cherry Float. Use the formulas above, but substitute 1/8 inch in place of the 1 or 2 inch layer. Add more product as needed to maintain this layer. NOTE: Use caution in plastic or PVC pipes. Product standing at joint areas may cause leakage at plastic plumbing joint. NOTE: State Cherry Float may affect some paints and plastics. Product should not be transferred into a secondary container.
