Biological Treatment Packets for Drains, Grease Traps, and Wastewater Systems
Sta-Zyme® Drain Maintainer Packets contain a concentrated blend of facultative bacteria and enzymes that provide biological treatment for routine drain and wastewater maintenance. Each pre-measured, water-soluble packet contains a concentrated blend of selectively adapted bacteria and enzymes designed to help break down fats, oils, grease, food waste, tissue, and other organic materials commonly found in drain lines and wastewater systems. The result is reduced grease accumulation, fewer service calls, and consistently free-flowing drain lines.
Where to Use Sta-Zyme® Drain Maintainer Packets
Use In: Floor drains, sinks, drain lines, grease traps, septic systems and wastewater systems
Recommended For: Commercial kitchens, office buildings, multifamily properties, universities, schools, hospitals, and other similar buildings
Effective Against: Fats, oils, grease, food waste, tissue, and organic buildup
Note: All dosing should be done during the slowest flow cycle of your system to allow for maximum working time.
For floor drains and sinks:
- Initially treat with 2 doses per day for 3-5 days.
- Treat with 2 doses per week routinely
For wastewater systems: consult your State Industrial representative for volume-based dosing guidelines.
