1911   The five Zucker brothers found State Chemical with Jay Zucker as first Company President.  
       
1913   State Chemical already needs to move to larger headquarters in the Ohio Building, later expanding to the entire building.  
       
1926   The Company builds a 16,000 sq. ft. building on Superior Avenue.  
       
1941   State Chemical purchases the Superior Avenue Baptist Church to expand its headquarters.  
       
1966   State Chemical moves to new and bigger headquarters on Hamilton Avenue.  
       
1971   Malcolm Zucker, son of Jay, becomes President of State Chemical.  
       
1972   State Chemical already needs to double the size of the Hamilton Avenue location.  
       
1978   Neutron Industries, Inc. is founded by Cary Zucker
July: Construction of an additional 20,000 sq. ft. area to the existing 150,000 sq. ft. plant and office.
 
       
1982   April: UZ Engineered Products is founded. UZ stands for Uhrman Zucker.  
       
1989   Hal Uhrman, the third generation, becomes President of State Chemical.  
       
1990   State Chemical buys Hyline International, a Canadian company based in Ontario, that becomes State Chemical Ltd.  
       
1995   A 10,000 sq. ft. addition is added to the Cleveland warehouse.
April: Corporate identity established when State Industrial Products name and logo unveiled.
 
       
2006   CEO Hal Uhrman names Robert San Julian President and COO of State Industrial Products  
 
2007 State Industrial Products acquires Ohio Soap, a $10 million company engaged in the industrial and institutional dishwashing and ware washing market based in Brookpark, Ohio. State Industrial Products runs this new business through its subsidiary, Clean All Systems Ohio LLC, dba State Cleaning Solutions.
 
2007 State Chemical introduces Ecolution™, a line of environmentally-preferred cleaning products that meet stringent goals to reduce potential health, safety, and pollution risks.

 
2007 State Chemical's Ecolution™ products meet Green Seal Certification to achieve a healthier and cleaner environment.

 
2007 State Industrial Products launches a new branding program designed to support the tagline "Care for Work Environments®". New company logos visually tie the chemical divisions together.
